William Michael Lee Richardson was born on July 18, 1976, in Frederick, Oklahoma. He was the first child of Ricky and Susan Richardson of Vernon. He died on September 6, 2023.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 9, 2023, at 11:00 am at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Joe Dale Wilson and Ms. Katy Marlow officiating. Burial will follow at Eastview Cemetery under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Michael attended schools in the Vernon school system, beginning Early Childhood when he was just three years old.

He had been an Honorary Vernon Police Officer since 2018.

He was a member of the Fargo Church of Christ.

Michael is survived by his parents, Ricky and Susan Richardson, his sister, Robin Casarez and husband, Chris of Vernon, his nephew, Christopher Ryan Casarez of Austin and his Papa, Loy Knight of Vernon. Also survived by aunts, uncles, great aunts, great uncles, many cousins and second cousins.

Michael is preceded in death by his uncles Michael Wayne Richardson and Skip Richardson, his Nanny Bess Knight and his Grandma Helen and Grandpa Jim Richardson.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Sullivan Funeral Home.
