William Lavern Rider, 63 of Vernon, Texas died on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, in Vernon, Texas.

William was born Tuesday, March 11, 1958 in Salt Lake City, Utah, he was the son of the late William Rider and the late Shirley Goodrum  Rider. He married Michelle Higgins on November 17, 1986 in Vernon, Texas. He served in the US Army. He was a gunsmith, an airplane mechanic and a hog farmer.

William is survived by his wife Michelle Rider of the home, daughters, Danna Rider (Charles Singleton) of Vernon, TX, Wanda Rider of Vernon, TX, Several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
