Willie D'Lois Azbell, 85 of Vernon, Texas died on Sunday, January 30, 2022,in Vernon, Texas.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, February, 1, 2022 at 3:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Phillip Weitner officiating. Interment will be held at Eastview Cemetery under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

D'Lois was born Sunday, March 15, 1936 in Vernon, Texas, she was the daughter of the late Lois Benjamin Stokes and the late Helen Clary  Stokes. She married Robert Lee Azbell, Sr. on August 6, 1956 in Vernon, Texas he preceded her in death April 28, 1998. She had lived in Vernon all of her life. She worked as a Stitch Board Operator for North Texas State Hospital. She enjoyed camping, playing games, she was an avid reader and she loved doing crossword puzzles, cooking, laughing, and enjoying herself. She was a lifetime member VFW Women's Family Auxiliary.  She was a member of First Assembly of God Church.

D'Lois is survived by her  sons, Robert Azbell, Jr. of Okmulgee, OK and Steven Joel Azbell of Vernon, TX, daughters, Lorri Quintero of Vernon, TX, Susie Brown of Norman, OK and Janet Guttieri of Vernon, TX; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and a son Allen Richard Azbell in 1972.

Visitation will be Tuesday at 2:00 pm till service time at Sullivan Funeral Home.
