Willie Ray Hall, Sr., 87 of Vernon, Texas passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, in Vernon, Texas.

A private family service will be scheduled.

Willie was born Wednesday, December 15, 1937, in Memphis, Texas. He was the son of the late Edgar Hall and the late Ollie Hall. He married Loretta Olga Doyle on August 25, 1956, in Vernon, Texas. He was an oil field worker, and he retired from Amerada Hess after thirty two years. He then worked for H.C. Leach.

Willis is survived by two sons, Jeffrey Lamont Hall & wife Sandra of Vernon, Texas and Willie Ray Hall, Jr. & wife Kay of New Braunfels, Texas and seven grandchildren, Brady & Alyssa Hall of Vernon, Texas, Brittani & Kyle Christopher of Midland, Texas, Chris & Shelby Hall of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Misty & Tony Storie of Richmond, Texas, Brandon & Caitlin Hawk of Knoxville, Tennessee, John & Roxanne Hall of Midland, Texas, and Heather & BJ Lambard of Abilene, Texas. Willie also leaves behind twenty one great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Willie is preceded in death by his wife, Olga Hall on June 9, 2017.
