Wille John Kieschnick, Jr., 89 of Vernon, Texas died on Sunday, July 17, 2022 in Vernon, Texas.
Services will be Thursday, July 21, 2022 at 10:00am at St. Paul Lutheran Church with Rev Paul Neuberger. Interne twill be held at Wilbarger Memorial Park under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.
Willie was born Monday, November 28, 1932 in Vernon, Texas, he was the son of the late Willie Kieschnick Sr. and the late Bertha Bodling Kieschnick. He married Virginia Nell Lemon on January 22, 1953. He served in the US Army, serving for two years in Korea. He had lived all of his life in Vernon. He was a committee man for Farm Service Agency and he served as President at Farm Bureau. He loved to play dominos, eating homemade ice cream, Almond Mounds and drinking Dr. Peppers. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and he was an Elder of the church.
He is survived by his wife Virginia Kieschnick of the home. Three sons, Larry Kieschnick and wife Jan of Vernon, TX, Trent Kieschnick and wife Janice of Vernon, TX and Devin Kieschnick and wife Sandra of Vernon, TX. Grandchildren Kendi Maruska, Clint Kieschnick, Kristi Olson, Brad Kieschnick, Layne Kieschnick, Beth Ann Crawford, Tanner Kieschnick, Katelyn Gardner, Landee Thorn, Dax Kieschnick, Broc Kieschnick, and Dane Kieschnick. And 15 great grandchildren and one on the way. His sisters Jeannette Graf, Bernice Wiederanders, and Ruthie Woelfel.
He is preceded in death by his son Kenny Kieschnick on May 23, 2018. His siblings Agnes Gfeller Albrandt, Alice Kaestner, Fredia Schoppa, Walter Kieschnick, Louis Kieschnick, Wilbert Kieschnick, Edward Kieschnick, and Robert Kieschnick.
Memorials can be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 20th at 6:00 to 7:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home.
