Winnie Viola Lane, 81 of Vernon, Texas died on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, in Vernon, Texas.

Memorial service will be held Monday, December 13, 2021 at 2:00pm at Quanah Memorial Park.

Winnie was born Monday, October 14, 1940 in Quanah, Texas, she was the daughter of the late Preston Leonard and the late Yiola Kidd Leonard. She married Tommy Joe Lane, Sr. on December 28, 1958 in Goodlett, Texas. She was the Cafeteria Manager at Shive School and she had also worked at Vernon State Hospital. She was a member of Western Trail Cowboy Church. She was a homemaker.

Winnie is survived by her husband Tommy Joe Lane, Sr. of the home,  son, Robert Lane of Vernon, TX, daughter, Debbie Brumley of Vernon, TX. Several grandchildren and great grandchildren
